Dryad Beanie: available now on Ravelry

The Dryad beanie is now live on Ravelry.

It is a simple 10ply/aran weight beanie that knits up fast. Simple cables add some detail while providing inspiration for the name. Slightly slouchy in design, the pattern provides options to add extra slouch as suits your style as well as decoration such as a pompom. Four sizes are provides, toddler, child, small adult and large adult. The smallest will fit a toddler with a head circumference of 43cm and the largest will fit a head circumference of 63. (I know this as I had my husband try it one).

It also seems that I have hit 500 followers on Instagram. So why not have a quick promotion?

Using the code IG500 you can get 50% off all my patterns. It will be live for a week.

Here is a picture of an adult wearing the hat. My eldest took it so it is slightly blurry but it shows the extra “slouch” option nicely.

Until next time.

Maya Levitt Designs is now on Love Knitting

You can now find Luminous and Limerick on Love Knitting. The simple free bonnet pattern I designed a few years ago is also available.

I am hoping to work on adding new patterns to both my Ravelry and Love Knitting store over the next few months. I currently have two shawl patterns (one about to go into testing), a beanie and two children’s pixie hats waiting to be written up.

But alas I am not very fast at knitting or do not have enough free time to fit it in.

But if you are ever interested in testing, please let me know. I am always looking for new people to try my patterns so I can iron out all the kinks.

The current project that need to be tested is called The Garden Gate Stole, a  parrellogram shaped wrap with a cable border.
