After a long break due to study commitments I picked up the needles again. Inspired by the gorgeous balls of yarn I bought from Thimble and Purl, I wanted something pretty that showed off the yarn. The response on Instagram was lovely. Last knit as I was finishing off the first lace section I thought, it’s getting close to Christmas and I would love to share my rather impromptu design around. So the idea of a knit-along on IG came about.
I am posting the details here because some sections will likely be too long to post on IG, especially the lace sections.

This design does belong to me, Maya Levitt. Please acknowledge that, as while it has been made up on the fly, the lace was my original design worked out months ago and tested. Writing patterns up takes time and lots of math involved. It would be much easier for me to just to knit something up, writing it down and making sure it works in writing it labor intensive.
